Interesting facts about Deimys.
She was born and raised in Playa, Cuba. Deimys came to the United States when she was 14 years old. She lived in Miami, FL until she joined the United States Navy, where she worked in Aviation mainly on EA-6B Prowler airplanes. After her contract, she moved to Colorado in 2009 where she met her current husband Josh. They have made a life here in Colorado and although her heart is mainly with the ocean, she does enjoy outdoor activities very much. During her free time; she enjoys reading books about mindfulness, neurobiology, psychopharmacology, self-improvement, spiritual, mind, body and soul among others. Deimys has always had a passion and an intense drive for helping others reach their most positive potential and she spends a lot of time and energy into spreading that to others.
Another interesting fact about Deimys; she loves art. She owns her own tattoo machine and enjoys tattooing on herself when able. Unfortunately, since art on the body may still be frowned upon; most of her permanent art is hidden to ensure professionalism, although they are all very inspirational.
When asked: What keeps you going everyday? She said - “my drive and passion for life and happiness. The desire to exist and to make a difference in everyone’s lives including my family. I have always had this exiting feeling like a light that was just there, but was unsure where it would lead me. From the minute I hit rock bottom once, I knew exactly what I was meant to do.
