Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching other psychiatrists; now as an Associate Professor at two medical schools . And I have been incredibly fortunate to be taught by the best. For decades, my nationally prominent professors demonstrated how just how well clinical work can be done. I identified with them, internalized their values, commitment, and knowledge. This is who I became as a psychiatrist, and who I am today.
In part because of never having had had a suicide or a malpractice suit. I was named the national psychiatrist of the year. My additional four years of advanced training as a Fellow required successfully completing my own treatment. All this has earned me four Board Certifications in psychiatry. I have also published a book and fifteen articles and a DVD. Two of which have won top Prizes.
