I am a board certified psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst. I am also an anesthesiologist. I work by tele-health. I do not accept insurance, but provide billing statements with all information for submitting to insurance companies for reimbursement. I do not prescribe narcotics or benzodiazepines. I prefer working in regular psychotherapy. If medications are needed, I prefer that it be part of regular ongoing psychotherapy or analysis. I was in academic medicine for a number of years, and continue as a training and supervising psychoanalyst.
