came to mental health therapy after working as a social worker with a number of populations, including people with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges; people with traumatic brain injuries; and people with substance use disorders. My areas of focus include depressive disorders, anxiety, SUD, personality disorders, and chronic pain.
My interest in becoming a therapist evolved over time from a general interest in understanding trauma and human suffering and working to provide relief for these challenges. I am open to meeting with you to discuss your concerns and to help you find your ideal solution to the problems you face.
My general approach to working with patients is based on an assumption that most people are the best experts on their own lives. I like to work with people in partnership to assist them in defining problems and finding individualized solutions based on their strengths and desires. I have worked exclusively in telehealth since July of 2022.
