Dr. Maya Puri has been a psychiatrist for over 16 years with experience in General Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, CPEP Psychiatry and C/L Psychiatry. Her philosophy in medicine has always been “humanism” and “compassion”. In her practice she does both medication management and psychotherapy.
She recently served as Medical Director at two different nonprofit organizations in Manhattan: Hamilton-Madison House and The Bridge where she had both administrative and clinical responsibilities. Dr. Puri has a Suboxone (Buprenorphine) Waiver from the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and is certified to treat opioid dependence.
