Michael They is a board-certified nurse practitioner. He started his career working as a psychiatrist registered nurse in psychiatrist hospitals, inpatient and outpatient settings. He then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing and served as nurse practitioner. He has worked in many diverse areas including psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric rehabilitation centers, Indian reservations, prisons. His training experiences in both large metropolitan areas and very rural areas with limited access to health care have ignited a passion to provide access to affordable, quality mental health care.
He is treating adult mental illnesses, including Depression, Anxiety Disorders (eg. Panic Disorder, GAD, PTSD, OC), ADHD, MOOD Disorders, bipolar and schizophrenia.
He strives to help his patients gain insights into their inner conflicts, unveil their strengths, accept their limitations, and build their coping skills. His approach is empathic, dynamic, and straightforward so that patients always feel safe, understood, and at ease. Patients will be an active participant in treatment decision-making.
