My name Ijeoma Osuji is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. I have been a PMHNP for over 5 years, a registered nurse for over 20 years and worked as a mental health provider for about 10 years. I went back to school to become a PMHNP because of the passion I have for mental health and to help fight the social stigma associated with it. My PMHNP experience includes psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, primary care settings, and private practices. Each of these settings offers unique challenges and opportunities for me to develop skills and shape my practice. I am very empathetic, sincere, punctual, compassionate, and patient, and I have strong communication skills. I choose to work remotely to give my patients access to their mental health care in the comfort of their homes.
