Dr. Mushtaq has more than 20 years of experience in the field of medicine. She completed her internship and residency in psychiatry with Texas Tech Health Science University in Lubbock, TX and is the author of multiple publications in Psychiatric Journals. Furthermore, She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Board-certified in Psychiatry and specializes in treating all scopes of behavioral and emotional problems. Dr. Mushtaq’s first priority has always been the well-being of her patients. As a result, She Founded Texas Psychiatry Group as an avenue to enhance the quality of behavioral health care by focusing on providing individualized treatments for her patients as well as collaboratively working alongside their primary care physicians, and any other treating physicians further, to help them recover and return stability to their lives. Dr. Mushtaq also has a passion for teaching and has served as an honorary clinical instructor for medical and nursing students. Additionally, In her spare time Dr. Mushtaq enjoys reading books, travelling, and spending time with her family.
