I want to help you get your life back! I have a decade of experience in helping people overcome depression, anxiety, past trauma, and ADHD. In my practice there is no 'off the shelf' treatment plan; we make a unique plan for each individual. I have extensive training in the medication-based treatment of mental illnesses. I also empower my patients to learn healthy ways to cope with their stress through therapy. The patients being an equal partner in their recovery leads to lasting change.
I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency rooms, forensics/jails, and consultative services. I completed most of my medical training in Chicago, including my psychiatric residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I use a holistic and individualized approach. My goal is not to just prescribe medications or prescribe medications forever, but is rather to be a health partner and guide to optimize well-being.
In addition to being a psychiatrist, I am a father, an entrepreneur, a sports fan, a traveler, a life enthusiast.
